For a painter there’s an inexplicable draw towards capturing light.  This evening light comes through beech trees at the start of an unassuming but well-loved and trodden footpath from Winfrith to Five Marys tumuli, overlooking the Dorset village of Chaldon Herring, made quietly ‘famous’ by literary writer Sylvia Townsend Warner and her associates of the Bloomsbury Group during the 20th century.

‘Into the light’ is printed on Giclée Hahnemühle German Etching paper, which I feel the quality and texture of best suits my work.  It will arrive carefully packaged and ready to take to any good picture framer, who will be able to advise you on the style of mount card and frame you may like for your new picture.  Accompanying your print is a Certificate of Authenticity and a Thank You letter.

The original painting of ‘Into the light’ was created in oils on a wood panel.

Unless specified, my prints available to purchase online are all made to order; printed and dispatched directly from Creative Hub, (The Print Space, UK), who offer a high-quality product, great customer service and a dispatch of 6-10 days (though this is commonly 3 days for UK delivery).  Therefore, because your purchase is custom-printed it is non-refundable, unless damaged in delivery, in which case, please contact me immediately.  If you are seeking a print in a different size from those listed, please ask me and I will do my best accommodate your request.
